1. Not a Bank Deposit

Buying shares in Dikhumo Investments is not the same as depositing money into a savings account at a commercial bank. Share capital represents ownership in the cooperative and is subject to the risks of the business.

2. Capital at Risk

The value of your shares may fluctuate based on the cooperative's financial performance. In the event of liquidation, share capital is paid out only after all other creditors have been settled.

3. No Guaranteed Returns

Dividends are not guaranteed. They are declared by the Board and approved by members at the AGM, based on the profits generated in that financial year. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

4. Liquidity

Shares are not freely transferable on an open market. Withdrawal of share capital is subject to the cooperative's liquidity policy and Constitution. You may need to give notice before withdrawing your capital.
